Ellende!
Het heeft dus duidelijk een moderne setting die we niet kennen van de manga/anime. Misschien is dit wel een pluspunt…ik denk nog steeds dat dit niks wordt. Trouwens wat een klote trailer…voor een teaser zelfs laat het niks zien…mocht wel wat meer van een gevecht laten zien bijvoorbeeld….en waar the hell is Krillin? en waarom Yamcha?
Ik snap het echt niet…smh…tis nou niet alsof de source material van Dragonball zo geweldig is, maar daarom juist zou het misschien toch wel makkelijker te vertalen zijn naar een live-action versie? Wat jammer…echt jammer…
“Dragonball” is adapted from the manga created by Akira Toriyama; the work was also turned into a Japanese anime series that played all over the world. It tells the story of an alien sent to destroy Earth, who has a change of heart and decides to join the humans in their fight against various aliens and bad guys.
Goku (Justin Chatwin) goes on a journey to find Master Roshi (Chow Yun-Fat) and gather the seven mystical Dragon Balls before the evil Lord Piccolo (James Marsters) can. Along his way, he meets Bulma (Emmy Rossum) who then joins him to help him in his mission. When arriving at Roshi’s place, he is not welcomed with embrace but he has to fight Roshi. Roshi soon learns that Goku is the grandson of Gohan (Randall Duk Kim) and thus trains him to prepare him for the ultimate battle with Lord Piccolo to prevent him from collecting the powerful orbs.
De film zal 9 april in de Nederlandse bioscopen te zien zijn.
