Wie zijn de Transformers in "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen"?

Oke USAToday en Yahoo! Movies hebben een lijstje gegeven met de Transformers die we zullen zien in de aankomende film.
Het mooie hiervan is…ik vind het allemaal een beetje spacey?

Laten we er diep op ingaan…
Possible spoilage na de break!

Volgens het lijstje bestaan de Autobots uit:
Optimus Prime: The Autobots’ leader – alternate form: Peterbilt truck.
Ironhide:

Weapons specialist – GMC Topkick.

Ratchet:

Medic – Hummer H2.

Bumblebee:

Friend and mode of transportation for Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) – 2010 Chevorlet Camaro

Arcee:

Arcee is the only female and turns up as Megan Fox’s hot-pink motorcycle. Co-screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci say she was in an early draft of the first movie. “But we felt we needed to win the audience over before asking for that suspension of disbelief: a feminine alien robot,” Kurtzman says.

Jetfire:

As in the original, this fighter plane crash-landed on Earth a long time ago, and he will become a reformed Decepticon now fighting for the humans. His alternate form is the SR-71 Blackbird, the outdated but still-sleek Cold War spy plane.
“He’s old, craggy, forgetful … doesn’t work very well. Can’t transform very well, because he’s very geriatric. They get stuck with him a lot,” Bay says. “He knows the plan of the bad guys, but he forgets all the good parts of the plan.”

Sideswipe:

A candy-apple red Lamborghini in the original, joins the cast this time as General Motor’s silver Corvette Stingray concept car.

Jolt:

Jolt is a new foot soldier, played in four-wheel form by the Volt, a forthcoming Chevy hybrid plug-in.

Skid & Mudflap:

Two of GM’s other concept cars (the Trax and Beat) play The Twins, nicknamed Skids and Mudflap.
“Some of the junior Transformers are just dumb,” Bay says with a laugh. “But it’s great for kids because they’re like the Little Engine That Could. They’re (screw)-ups, but they get really heroic at the end.”

Starscream:

Formerly Megatron’s second in command, he escaped at the end of the first movie; F-22 Raptor jet.

Scorponok: De Scorpioen die we kennen van de eerste film.
The Fallen:

An ancient robot, sort of the Transformers’ version of Lucifer. He’s one of the original robot aliens, and his defiance and arrogance led to his banishment into another dimension. The screenwriters call him “the most elemental bad guy” and say that The Fallen holds the key to life on both Earth and Cybertron, the Transformers’ home planet.

Sideways: Audi R8

Soundwave: De communications expert van de Decepticons. Zal een Cybertronishe satalite alt-mode hebben.

Ravage:

The ultimate spy. A four-legged, cat-like robot. Ravage doesn’t turn into anything. “In the spirit of ‘more than meets the eye,’ Ravage isn’t just lethal because of his sharp teeth,” says screenwriter Alex Kurtzman. “There’s actually another skill set Ravage has that didn’t exist before, so there’s going to be a surprise for fans.” He doesn’t talk like the other Transformers.

The Doctor:

A spider-like droid that transforms into various implements of torture.

Wheelie: Kleine RC-auto.

Demolisher: 1 van de Constructicons die we konden zien in de trailer.

Devastator: Een gigantische robot die gevormd is uit de 7 Constructicons, Scavenger + Scrapper + Long Haul + Mixmaster + Rampage + Overload + Hightower.

These seven robots — Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster — transform into construction machinery, but also link up with one another to form one gigantic robot stomper named Devastator.

“He’s made of vehicles designed to build, and he turns into is someone who loves to destroy,” Orci says. “He is an agent of absolute chaos.”

Bay says Devastator is the crème de la smash and got a uncharacteristic reaction out of the film’s executive producer already.

“Spielberg saw it and said, ‘This is (expletive) awesome!’ ” Bay says, and adds: “It’s always nice when you can make him swear.”

Oke beetje raar allemaal…dus niks over Megatron?
Nou voor de duidelijkheid Mikey Bay heeft al gezegd dat Megatron in de film zit en Hugo Weaving (stem van Megs) heeft dat ook bevestigd.
Maar we gaan even het rijtje langs…
we beginnen bij de Autobots
en wel bij Arcee…Arcee is in de film? Ja no shit…maar wat nou met die andere bikeys? In de trailer kunnen we 3 robotformen van bikes zien zoals je kan zien bij de foto boven…
Ik vroeg me af bij de trailer of dit betekent dat Arcee een combiner is en dus bestaat uit 3 robot formen of is het zo dat er 3 verschillende robots zijn met eigen alt-modes…een oude behind the scenes video laat wel 3 motoren zien…
en een tijdje geleden kwam deze foto online (en nog veel meer)…

Zie je dat rechts…das een motor…ze heet Chromia…ook een G1 Transformer…ook een female…
Begint er wat te flikkeren?

Waarom staat Chromia niet op de lijst? Surprise surprise ofzo?
Voor de rest is er volgens mij niets nieuws aan de Autobot lijst…ik heb die zoiezo al eerder gecovered…

Nu naar de Decepticons…
Wheelie…hij werd altijd beschreven als een Autobot…zie foto…

Wat betekent de description van USAToday dan? Er staat wel in zijn bio dat hij bang kan zijn en gewoon naar Decepts kan luisteren maar maakt hem dat dan meteen een Decepticreep?

En nu naar Demolisher en de Constructicons…
Ik dacht dat Demolisher een Constructicon was…
Volgens de lijst bestaat Devastator uit 7 Constructicons…waaronder geen Demolisher…is dit een fout?
Is Scavenger niet gewoon Demolisher?

De excavator alt-mode in de foto lijkt gewoon op Demolisher…ik snap het niet helemaal…8 Constructicons?
Wat denken jullie????

En ze zeiden toch dat er ruim 40 robots waren? Whatthedeuce! Generic robots in de background? WACK!
